Thanksgiving got the best of me and I forgot to make a post to wish Matt a happy 32nd birthday. Happy belated birthday Matt!

Justin will be part of a Replacements tribute concert on Friday (November 26). He will be joined by other local musicians at First Ave main room and 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis to play Replacements songs. The show starts at 7:30 pm and benefits the Twin Cities Music Community Trust. For more information and to purchase tickets visit first-avenue.com.

This is a reminder that MCS will be on A Different Spin With Mark Hoppus tonight at 7pm EST on Fuse!

According to Twitter, MCS just taped an episode of A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus. It is scheduled to air on Fuse next Thursday (11/18).

MCS announced on Twitter and Facebook that they are playing a show called "Popsickle Festival" on December 18 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN. According to the press release, they hope to make this an annual festival in Minneapolis. Some of the bands listed as playing the show are: Minus the Bear, Foxy Shazam, Gold Motel, Now Now Every Children, A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Gospel Gossip, One For The Team, Take Cover, The Chord and The Fawn, and more! Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 13 at noon. The first 100 tickets purchased at the box office will be specially priced at $12.50 (two ticket limit). All other tickets are $22.50 in advance.

Spin.com has posted the new music video for "A Lifeless Ordinary" which was self-produced, check it out!

Motion City Soundtrack will play a headlining show at the Underworld in London, UK on August 26th. Foxy Shazam will be opening for them.

MCS recently performed a cover of the Pavement song "Cut Your Hair" for avclub.com. You can now download that song today via RCRD LBL's RCRD of the Day on MySpace.

Motion City Soundtrack will be playing the MTV2 Rock and Jock Concert at the 2010 Dew Tour Nike 6.0 BMX Open July 23rd in Chicago, IL. Tickets are on sale for $15 at ticketmaster.com. You can get more information at allsports.com.

Motion City Soundtrack is giving away $3,500 dollars to three people to help them fund their "Give A Little Help" project to benefit a charity or cause close to their hearts! You can now watch the 7th song testimonial video for "Stand Too Close" at teen.com.

The band will also be releasing 5 podcast episodes through Zune over the next week. The first one, called "Intro with Justin" is now posted. You will need the Zune software. The rest of the episodes will be released on 1/13, 1/15, 1/18, and 1/20.

Motion City Soundtrack will be featured on the Alice In Wonderland soundtrack, slated to be released on March 2. The album, Almost Alice features artists re-imagining songs from the Disney classic. MCS's song is titled "Always Running Out of Time". You can read more about the album at mtvnews.com.

And finally, information has been released about the Penn State concert scheduled for January 30th. The concert is open to students for free (one ticket per student) and tickets will be available on January 25 . You can read more in The Daily Collegian or follow the Penn State SPA on Twitter.

A secret show has been announced for LA on January 12th. The first 35 Shockhound users who pre-order My Dinosaur Life and send an e-mail will win tickets to the show.
