Ah, I'm a day late! Happy belated birthday to Matt!

Motion City Soundtrack's new single, "Inside Out", is now available both at iTunes and Amazon.com.

They have also announced a new year's eve show in Chicago at the Bottom Lounge to celebrate the 10th anniversary of I Am The Movie. They will play that album in its entirety as well as other hit songs. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 20 at ticketweb.com. The show is 21 and over.

RollingStone.com is streaming the new MCS song "Inside Out". According to the article it will be officially released tomorrow.

Dates for MCS's tour with Relient K and Driver Friendly have been announced. Check out the Tour Dates section for the list and ticket information.

Additional dates for the fall tour with Bayside, What�s Eating Gilbert, and State Champs have been released (see below).

Motion City Soundtrack will be playing the Pizza Luce Block Party, a free show in downtown Minneapolis, MN on August 10 from noon-10pm. You can find more details and the full lineup at the Current's website.

Motion City Soundtrack will be touring this fall playing co-headline shows with Bayside. What's Eating Gilbert and State Champs will be opening the shows. They released a few of the tour dates today which will be going on sale tomorrow (see below). More dates will be announced soon.

MCS has recently been playing a new song called "Inside Out" on Warped Tour. Below is a video of the song I took at my Warped Tour date, sorry it is a little shaky. Justin said they were working on a new album and hopefully this song will be on it.

Okay, I thought I had posted this already but I guess not. So here is some news a month later that most people reading this probably already know ;)

Motion City Soundtrack announced Claudio Rivera will be their new drummer last month. Welcome Claudio!

And for those who want to continue to follow Tony, he has his own website now and has also posted a message to explain what his new project is.

As you may have read, Tony Thaxton (drums) is parting ways with MCS. We'll miss you Tony!
